1 Poor handling during shipping. Glass shattered. By Cody Conaway

 So the box was filthy and dinted along the sides. I opened it up, removing the first layer of framework and lifted the first glass panel, felt something sharp and there was the second glass piece scattered in a million pieces.

The box WAS marked "fragile" and "glass". Thank a bunch UPS. What's even better is that I can not miss work to be home for a pickup so I get to load a bit box of broken glass into my tiny car to drive it to them.

This desk was a horrible waste of money. Two pieces were completely broken. Upon opening it was evident that it was a used item, and I was lucky enough to receive it. I’m very disappointed and will be sending this item back for a refund.

3 Do not bother with Lecrozz customer service By Bibi 

Well, when it arrived and I opened the box, the desk top glasses was shattered to tiny pieces.

I contacted Lecrozz customer service and they Do Not offer any replacement or warranty.

4 Hard to put together. Not very stable By Deer Hunter

The desk was extremely difficult as the instructions weren't clear nor were they concise. I have put together beds from Ikea, so I am not new to DIY. Then some of the parts were rusted near the legs, and some of the metal parts don't line up for the table top and are damaged. In addition to, the desk isn't exactly stable on carpet. I am considering sending the desk back.

While i try to remain positive about my reviews, this desk has been a bit of a disappointment. The glass does not, and will not, fit flush with the metal frame. The glass is slightly recessed making it feel like you are reaching over the lip of the desk while you are using it. The glass its self actually had a very sharp edge on it. I would recommend spending a few more dollars for the walker edision glass desk.

I bought two of these desks to put in a U-shape work station, but was disappointed that the two desks had different finishings on the metal lining around the glass. One of them had a shiny finish and the other had a rougher matte finish. Not sure why the same product would have different finishings, not very happy they don't match. But it is a nice desk with pretty modern glass, it is nice that you can move your chair all around it instead of having a supports in the middle.

The desk comes pretty much exactly as pictured, although it sits quite low (yes I realize I could have measured). Quite easy to get out of the box and get set up. Took less than a half hour I would say. The desk seems functional but overall not incredibly sturdy. My biggest gripe (and the reason for the 3 stars) is the idiotic "warning" sticker in the middle of the center glass panel, as it was difficult to peel off and left thick residue. Took me about 20 minutes  just to get the sticky residue off of there.

8 Defective  product,  decent customer service. By Eric

I must say I am extremely disappointed to come across such a highly repped item, only to find that due to faulty manufacturing I cannot even assemble the table.

There are large cracks in the corners of some parts of the metal frames that appear to have been superglued. In one section of the frame, the screw could not fit into the matching hole because the metal around the hole was bent and misshapen.

Now I have to deal with the ordeal of shoving everything back into the package -- which was a pain in itself to open -- and then shipping the thing back. What a terrible experience.

I purchased this for my room and it works. The assembly was pretty tough considering some parts were mislabeled and had to use force to get parts to line up and screw into place. Besides the hard assembly this desk does it's purpose and is pretty sturdy for it's price.

Packaging was damaged; fortunately, the parts inside were not. Styrofoam buffers flaked & came apart too easily. Missing  one suction cup (8/9).  Easy assembly, simple instructions. Can't properly set/balance all of the top pieces without the final suction cup (it's really important).

Great, sturdy desk for the price point!

Very good, sturdy desk for less than $300. It's all particle board with a (almost certainly) fake veneer finish. If you know how to operate a screw driver, you'll be able to put the desk together. I put it together practically by myself (I had someone hand me the screws and such as well as lift it to where I wanted it in my room because honestly I only lift weights when I carry my groceries from the car to my apartment). I have a gaming PC, two 24 inch monitors, mouse, and full sized keyboard sitting on the glass cabinet portion of the L-shape and still have room for a drink, full sized heasphones, and various wires. The desktop shows no signs of deformation under that weight either. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that I place in the phone cubby thing. It's a tight fit, but I can keep my phone off the desktop. My only dislikes are that the veneer (the cherry, espresso, or gray) definitely shows dings (I may have dropped my mechanical keyboard on it....... (; A ;)), the drawers appear to sit slightly crooked and unaligned, and the drawer bottoms are really dense cardboard or cardstock as opposed to a piece of wood. Besides that, I love it. I'm also excited that it's part of a complete set. I'll probably end up buying the matching hutch thing and fancy-looking filing cabinet so I can get rid of one of my two dressers and a small bookshelf. Also, I didn't install the back board for the cabinet and shelf (see pictures) because I had already moved it into a position too close the wall to fit my hands, nails, and a hammer between the desk and wall.

Great desks for the price, nice and solid. Nice cherry color, even though it's just laminate on particle board We purchased two of these L-shaped desks and put them back to back to make a nice work station with a large work surface to sprawl our papers, etc., out on, as you can see in the attached photo. Our wall is 131" long, so the two 60" desks were the largest size we could fit together this way but it works out nicely and allows us easy access to the French doors to our balcony, which is to the right of the photo. The black portal for wires is too small for our current Mac's wires to run through so we set the Mac at a 45 degree angle which works fine for me.

We considered getting a pair of Bush's more expensive 60" L-shaped desks but the Cabot collection is less heavy and less than half the price of the other set. I actually prefer the the look of the less bulky Cabot line. One word of caution: be careful with the laminate panels. We leaned one against the wall while assembling the unit and the laminate cracked. The cracked piece is up against the wall, though, so you can't see it.

So nice I bought it twice!

We have been using this desk for four months now and LOVE it. We wanted a desk that would go in our second bedroom office and fit our spacial needs but didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on an expensive desk. This desk is GREAT. It took my husband and I about three hours to put it together. It has not bowed or absorbed any condensation from cups (although we try to be mindful and use coasters). The drawers are smooth and the cabinet for the computer tower is a good size. We opted to leave the back of the computer cabinet open though to prevent it from over heating. The only drawback is that the charging station is kind of lame. It's at an awkward angle so you can't use your phone while it's charging and just connects into the computer

VERY HAPPY FOR THE PRICE

We moved into a new house, but unfortunately my beautiful, albeit old executive desk, couldn't join us as it was destroyed in the move. I work from home as a grant writer so I needed a new desk desperately. I had my eyes set on the Carlyle Home Office Desk from Ashley Furniture, but the cost was well over 1,500 (that's not including Shipping cost either). With everything we've already spent furnishing the new house my husband asked that we hold off and think about this particular purchase since maybe he could find something more reasonably priced that was similar. I was skeptical, but he actually found both the desk and the hutch on sale for a total of $355.61 (Shipping and Tax included). Needless to say I thought that the price for both items was very fair. Honestly, for this price I figured I could research ways to extend its longevity until my husband felt comfortable splurging on the desk I had originally wanted. Although after the extra steps we went through to put this desk together we not only saved A LOT of money, but now I don't even want to buy the other desk at Ashely Furniture anymore! With me working from home and my husband being a computer engineer this desk has been getting a lot of use and has held up to the task even shared by both of us! Now to protect the desk from scratches from regular use we went to Lowes and purchased 2 pieces of Duraplex brand plexiglass and had them cut to size. The only tedious part was having to hand cut the opening for the cord and USB hub. It's not hard, just tedious because you have to take your time with it. We purchased the cheapest plastic cutting tool at Lowes and used small pliers to cautiously snap off the pieces of plastic we scored. The total we spent at Lowes for the 3 items was $70.24 (LA area 9% tax included). We also purchased a basic underneath desk keyboard tray from Staples for $16.55 (LA area 9% tax included). Overall for the grand total of $442.40 we've invested for this desk we couldn't be happier!

Very nice corner unit for under 300

Very nice desk for under 300 shipped although some reviews would lead you to think this isn't a nice unit at all. Totally false in my book and I am picky. The only blemish I found was on the fiberboard that is hidden on the back side tacked on. The drawers are off a bit on their alignment but I can deal for the price. I would recommend this unit, take your time, line up the bags of screws to see what all you are working with and since all pieces are stickered A-Z line them up and your putting together will be a breeze. It is quite a few parts that's my only suggestion.
